Collection: Commercial Grade - Oud Treasure

The commercial grade is the grade on which the trade turns: the second step on our five-tier ladder, a clearer resin and a longer persistence than the base at a price that still leaves a comfortable margin for whoever sells and a felt value for whoever consumes. Two pieces at one price, 62.52 riyals per hundred grams, and two entirely different personalities: a dark Vietnamese strength, and transparent-sorting Sumatran slices, both sorted by the same four declared criteria that weigh our whole ladder.

The quick buying guide: your decision in a minute

Two pieces and one price, so the decision is by use, not by price.

You want direct strength and persistence

The enhanced Black Vietnamese: the strong commercial pillar of the grade, a full presence and a persistence that crosses the middle of the evening, for whoever's aim is burning as it is.

Why buy your grade from Oud Treasure?

Declared criteria, not fancy names

You know why this piece is commercial and that one excellent: four written criteria we are held accountable by, instead of a market that hands out the titles with no definition.

One scale for the whole ladder

The commercial's piece and the collectors' piece are weighed by the same four criteria: resin density, persistence, piece purity, and origin rarity, and the difference is the degree of the measure, not a double standard.

The value point before the differences multiply

The commercial grade is the last stop where you buy quality at a linear price: after it the grade differences begin to accelerate, and here stands the smartest riyal you spend.

A grade made to turn

A quality that brings the buyer back and a price that does not deter him: the equation that makes it the fastest-turning grade in the market for the merchant and the most stable habit for the consumer.

A burned sample before every verdict

From every batch actual samples are burned before the classification: the nose is our final judge of the burning's cleanliness and the length of the breath, not the paper nor the appearance alone.

A grade that follows the batch, not the name

Every batch is sorted anew on the same criteria: the name does not buy its grade with us, and what you read here is what we actually sorted.

What distinguishes the commercial grade? Its position on the ladder first

You will not understand a grade except by its position among its siblings, so this is our whole five-tier ladder with its four criteria: resin density, persistence, piece purity, and origin rarity. One scale from the base to the summit, and each higher grade a higher measure in the same four:

The daily grade

The ladder's base from thirty riyals: a real, lighter-density resin and a persistence of hours, for the habit of repeated consumption.

The commercial grade You are here

The second grade at 62.52 riyals: a clearer resin and a persistence that crosses the middle of the evening, the merchant's turnover point and the smart consumer's value.

The excellent grade

The golden middle of the ladder: the balance of character and price on which the homes build their permanent aromatic identity.

The luxury grade

A dense resin, an evenings' persistence, and a rarer origin: the oud of the distinguished guest and the occasion that deserves it.

The collectors grade

The summit of the ladder: the rare pieces that are acquired as acquisitions, where the four criteria reach their utmost measure.

And what does the jump from thirty riyals to 62.52 mean practically? Three things your nose touches, not your advertisement: a visible resin more widely spread across the piece's faces so a fuller burning from the first glow, a persistence that crosses the middle of the evening instead of withdrawing after its first hours, and a layer of depth in the scent that gives the oud a bottom appearing with the ember, not a single surface. This is the first step up on the ladder, and the clearest difference you will smell between two adjacent grades on it.

And why did we name it the commercial? Because it is the grade on which the popular oud trade has turned since antiquity: a final price within the reach of the widest segment with a quality that brings the client back, so it is the fastest-turning of the grades on the shelves of whoever sells and the most stable in presence in the homes of whoever buys for himself. The name is an economic description of its position, not a restriction on its user.

And an honest consideration before you add to the cart: the two pieces here are at a unified price but their two personalities are genuinely different, a dark strength against slice transparency, so do not let the price match delude you into a goods match. Buy by use, not by price, and if you hesitate, a sample of each is the cheapest lesson in the store.

The commercial grade's two varieties: the classification logic of each piece

Black Vietnamese enhanced: the strong commercial pillar

62.52 riyals per hundred grams: a dark spread resin, a direct presence, and a persistence that carries the long session, the variety the merchant's shelf is built on and the weekly consumer settles on. It is here because its density and persistence clearly crossed the daily's threshold, without the layered complexity that raises a piece to the excellent.

Natural Sumatran enhanced slices: the transparency and the grinding

62.52 riyals per hundred grams: the slice form reveals the resin veins to the eye so you sort visually before you smell, and makes it the most suitable for grinding and mixing for the serious blend makers. Its resin and persistence are in the same commercial range, and its form earns it a practical role the dark break does not perform, and the Sumatran oud page tells its origin at length.

And whoever wants the background of the word shared between them, the enhanced oud page explains what enhancement means with us and what it does not, its counterpart in the natural oud, and for the slices' origin the whole Sumatran oud page.

Quality and grading: the commercial's thresholds specifically

The same four criteria sort the whole ladder, but each grade has its thresholds, and the commercial's two decisive thresholds are density and persistence: the piece does not enter here except with a spread resin the eye sees in more than one face, not shy veins in a single face, and with a persistence that crosses the middle of the long session without fading to a mere trace. Practically: the daily's piece accompanies the afternoon coffee, and the commercial's piece accompanies the evening gathering past its middle. And what clearly crossed these thresholds, with a layered complexity or a rarer origin, does not remain here as a flattery to its price but ascends to the excellent where its honest place is.

Who is this grade for?

The seasoned merchant

Knows the shelf rests on a grade that turns, not on precious things that sleep: the commercial is his backbone that covers his rent and brings his customer back, and the wholesale scale makes his reckoning clear.

Wholesale oud →

The ambitious bukhoor shop

Begins its assortment from the widest-accepted quality-and-price point: the wholesale starter packs give it a first considered shelf instead of a single-variety gamble.

The starter packs →

Whoever upgraded from the daily

His nose has come to ask for a longer persistence and a clearer depth: the commercial is his logical first step, a difference he actually smells at a price that has not yet jumped.

The daily grade →

The serious blend maker

Has passed the trial-and-error stage and wants a heavier-resin material for her distinctive blends: the Sumatran slices are her material, and the incense-making page her gear.

How do you choose within the grade?

1
Define your aim first

Selling to customers, personal consumption, or grinding and mixing? The aim recommends the piece: selling and direct burning lean to the Vietnamese, and visual sorting and mixing to the Sumatran slices.

2
Choose the personality: the strength or the slices

The price is unified so it will settle nothing for you: a direct-presence dark strength, or transparent-sorting practical-form slices? This is the only real decision on this page.

3
Try with a sample of each

A direct comparison by your nose in one session settles what the descriptions cannot: order through the sample request page and mention that you are comparing the commercial's two pieces.

4
Then the kilo for what your nose settled on

The kilo price of 573.10 riyals saves you a clear difference over repeating the hundred-gram packs: this is the pack of whoever found his permanent variety.

5
And for the commercial turnover, five kilos and above

Whoever buys to sell begins from the five-kilo range through the wholesale oud, or with the starter packs assortment, and requests a documented price offer for the larger quantities.

The source and origin: where the grades' borders are drawn

Our oud arrives from the forests of Indonesia, Vietnam, and their neighborhood through direct relations with the oud harvesters, then is sorted and graded at the preparation centers in Malaysia. And the middle grades have a particularity known to everyone who has sorted: they are the hardest sorting of all, because the grades' borders are drawn here, not in the clear extremes. The luxury piece announces itself and the poor piece exposes itself, but the piece between the daily and the commercial, or between the commercial and the excellent, needs a trained eye, a scale, and a burned sample before it takes its place. The educational guide: the economics of the middle grade

Why is it the fastest-turning grade in the popular market?

The turnover equation in the popular oud trade is simple in its essence: a final selling price that does not deter the widest segment, and a quality that makes the buyer return by name to the same variety. The lower grades achieve the first condition and weaken in the second when the customer asks for more, and the higher grades reverse the equation: they sell slower to a narrower audience even if at a wider margin for the single piece. The commercial sits on the meeting point of the two conditions, and this is why the shelf is built on it and the other grades are added as its margins. As for the turnover numbers themselves, we will not promise you them, because they are the child of your market, your season, and your location, not the child of our promises, and measuring them with a trial quantity is more honest than any promised table.

The smart upgrade from the daily: the session reckoning

For the personal user there is a practical way to settle the thirty-two-riyal difference: reckon by your sessions, not by grams. If your sessions are short and fleeting, a morning incense or a fleeting reception, then the daily's persistence covers them fully and you are paying in the commercial for hours you will not attend. But if your sessions are extending evenings, then with the daily you burn twice or thrice to cover what a single commercial piece covers, and there the price difference dissolves in the consumption difference and you are left above it with a scent depth you could not attain to begin with. The upgrade is worth it when your majlis runs long, and is a luxury when it does not.

The middle grade: the hardest art of sorting

We say it transparently: the easiest sorting decisions are at the extremes, and the hardest are in the middle where this grade stands. The borderline piece, which wavers between the daily and the commercial or between the commercial and the excellent, passes with us through the three stations in full: the eye on the resin's spread across the faces, the hand on the relative weight, then the arbiter with no appeal after it: the burned sample. An actual ember from the borderline piece itself, and the nose judges the smoke's fullness and the length of the breath, so if it falls short of the commercial's threshold the piece descends a grade however good its appearance, and if it crosses it, it ascends however modest its form. This is the hidden effort behind a page that displays only two varieties: borders drawn with the ember, not by guessing.

Storing a grade that turns

The grade that is bought by the kilo and consumed by repetition needs a storage system, not a single container: divide your stock into small tight packs away from the sun, the heat, and the moisture, and open for the daily handling or the selling only one pack and keep the mother sealed, for the oud that is opened and closed every day bleeds its scent into the air before you sell it or smell it. And the Sumatran slices in particular are not ground except just before use, because the grinding opens a wide surface to vaporization and shortens the scent's life sharply.

Frequently asked questions of the commercial grade

Why did you name this the commercial grade?

Because historically it is the merchants' fastest-turning grade: the quality-and-price point that sells itself in the market with no long explanation, for its final price is acceptable to the widest segment and its quality brings the buyer back again. The name describes its economic position on the ladder, not a restriction to merchants, for it suits your home by the same logic: the best you get for every riyal before the higher grades' differences begin to multiply.

What is the practical difference between it and the daily at a 32-riyal difference?

Three differences you smell, not read: a visible resin more widely spread across the piece so a fuller burning, a persistence that crosses the middle of the evening instead of the daily's first hours, and a layer of depth in the scent with which you feel the oud has a bottom, not just a surface. If your use is fleeting and repeated, the daily suffices you honestly, and if your sessions run long or your customers return, the difference buys itself.

The two pieces are at the same price, so which do I choose?

Do not buy by price but by use, for a unity in price does not mean a unity in personality: the enhanced Black Vietnamese is strength, persistence, and a direct presence, and it is the choice when burning as it is the piece's aim. And the Sumatran slices are a visual transparency that eases their sorting and a form that serves grinding and mixing. The genuinely hesitant have their matter settled by a sample of each before the kilo.

Is this grade for trade only or for personal use too?

Both with no flattery: the logic that makes it the merchant's fastest-turning grade is the same that makes it the smartest personal purchase, the highest felt quality before the prices begin to jump. Many of our individual customers settled on it as a permanent weekly oud, and save the luxury for its occasions. The name is commercial and the benefit is general.

What are the acceptance criteria in the commercial grade specifically?

The same four criteria applied to the whole ladder: resin density, persistence, piece purity, and origin rarity, but with higher thresholds than the daily in the first two specifically. The piece does not enter here except with a spread resin the eye sees in more than one face, and a persistence that crosses the middle of the long session without fading. What achieved the general acceptance threshold below this threshold remained in the daily, and what clearly crossed it ascended to the excellent.

Why only two products in this grade?

Because the grade displays what actually passed its sorting, not what fills the page: these two pieces are what settled in the commercial range of the current batches, and the grade widens and its display narrows with the stock and the sorting. We prefer a page of two honest varieties over a page of ten names half of them crammed in, and what arrives of new batches is sorted on the same criteria and appears here if it deserves.

When do I upgrade from the commercial to the excellent?

When you begin to notice what the commercial does not give: a higher complexity in the scent's stages, a persistence that wants to cover the whole evening not most of it, and a guest or an occasion that deserves a grade of display. If you are a merchant the sign is different: when your recurring customer asks you for what is higher, that is the time to add the excellent to your shelf, not to replace the commercial with it.

How much does the merchant's stock of this grade turn usually?

Honestly: it depends on your market, your location, and your season, and we will not promise you turnover numbers we do not control. What we can say from the grade's nature is that it gathers a final price within the reach of the widest segment with a quality that makes a returning client, and these are the two engines of turnover wherever the market is. Begin with a trial quantity through the wholesale starter packs and measure your market yourself.

Is the commercial grade available wholesale?

Yes, and it is our first recommendation for whoever begins the oud trade: the wholesale oud page displays the quantity scale from the kilo and above, and the wholesale starter packs were designed to enter the market with a considered assortment instead of gambling on a single variety. For a specific grade and quantity request, message us through the request-quotation page and we reply with a documented offer.

Can I try samples before committing to a quantity?

We advise it before any kilo: order through the sample request page a sample of the Vietnamese and another of the Sumatran, for the direct comparison between them by your nose settles the personality choice in one session. And whoever wants to understand the grade's position on the whole ladder, the sample kits across the grades show him the differences climbing and descending.

How does the order reach me and how long does the shipping take?

Documented international shipping with a tracking number from the preparation centers in Malaysia to your door, with tight packaging that preserves the scent from the road's moisture. The arrival duration varies by your country and its details appear at the completion of the order, and for the commercial quantities there are special shipping arrangements clarified within the price offer.

How do I store a commercial stock of this grade?

The same rule for the individual and the merchant with a difference of size: tight containers away from the sun, the heat, and the moisture, and divide the large stock into packs not opened except at need instead of a single container opened every day so its scent's life leaks out. The Sumatran slices in particular are stored as they are and not ground except just before the use or the selling, for the grinding opens a wider surface to vaporization.

What is the return policy if the product does not suit me?

The sample first is our shared protection from most of the return cases, and if an order reaches you differing from its description or afflicted by a defect, message us through the contact page with photos of the case and we treat it with you directly. The policy details are fully declared in the store, and a question before the purchase is more economical for you than a return after it.
